Ain’t it great to be together?

HELLO ALL, got a new password so will try to use family web more often. It was two months last tuesday since Pat’s seazure ( thats what they decided to call it) resulting from MRSA staff infection right brain lobe.

she has gone through three hospitals and one nursing facility.

following surgery her left side, arm hand and leg were almost useless. thanks to many many prayers and excelent medical treatment, she was able to come home last wed. oct 21. went to Mass tonight and sat night dinner. She has been using a cane Alan made for me after my leg bypass, but tonight she did without the cane the whole evening. Not my idea. You know her. Beginning to wonder if I’m happy with her home or not. Seems nothing is now in it’s place in the house, she can’t find things. Hello what about Alan and me looking for Food, condoments, utinsels, etc. for two months. It’s great to have her home. JIM

Mom’s Status

Dad asked me to make a post for him. He brought Mom home from the hospital yesterday, and will be taking her to see a neurosurgeon in San Antonio this afternoon. He’ll be updating us with the results after their visit, so I’ll pass that along once I hear from them.

I know all our prayers are with Mom, and hopefully this thing will be resolved soon. She’s a tough cookie.

(note: I did it again, it saved the post as being by Alan, but alas, it was me.)

Another summer gone

Well, summer is coming to a rapid close. I had a great time in Anchorage this summer. If you are on MySpace or Facebook you should check out my summer photo album, especially the intense photos from my rafting trip down Six Mile LOL But I made it through all my adventures safe and sound and am now back home in Fairbanks with school starting up next week. This will be my last year of school, and I will be graduating with my MS Geology in May. Kris and I will be moving to Anchorage next summer where I will be starting a job as a geologist for BP at the end of June! We are very excited to be getting out of Fairbanks and settling into “the real world” with no school (and no tuition bills!). The concept of making money instead of spending it sounds pretty good to us by now :)
